Fractional leadership · India

Fractional operations leadership in India.

When growth stretches delivery, processes and leadership capacity, the operating model needs to catch up. I bring hands-on COO and large-scale programme experience to defined fractional operations mandates for Indian businesses.

Discuss your leadership mandate

Make growth operationally deliverable.

The signs may be familiar: decisions depend on the founder, handovers are unclear, teams across locations work differently, or revenue growth creates delivery strain. Fractional operations leadership can provide senior ownership while the business builds a stronger internal operating rhythm.

A fractional COO-style mandate should be scoped around the actual operating constraint. We clarify responsibilities, stakeholder access and the internal team before agreeing the level of involvement. The approach is operating leadership, not a generic process report or an assumption that every sector has the same playbook.

Where I can help.

Process and delivery discipline

Map the important handovers and bottlenecks, establish practical process ownership and connect improvement decisions to delivery outcomes.

Multi-location operating rhythm

Build visibility and accountability across teams, locations and stakeholders so the business can run consistently at greater scale.

P&L and transformation alignment

Keep service expansion, digital change and operating priorities linked to commercial reality, cost discipline and adoption.

Experience at operating scale.

As Chief Operating Officer at BLS International, process re-engineering and an in-house ERP across more than 50 processes supported operating transformation and $7.3M in annual savings. These are outcomes from a previous operating role, not a guaranteed result for a future client.

At Quantela Technologies, I led Punjab citizen-service operations across 538 centres in 23 districts, serving more than 50,000 citizens daily. Earlier, at BillDesk, I built operations across more than 20 cities with ₹60Cr-plus P&L accountability. The experience is relevant when a mandate involves distributed execution and multiple stakeholders.

Explore my background

Before we begin.

When does a business need fractional operations leadership?

It can be useful when growth has outpaced delivery capacity, process ownership is unclear, or a multi-location programme needs experienced senior leadership. The mandate should be tied to a concrete business priority.

Do you work on GovTech and service operations?

My background includes government-facing citizen services, digital payments and enterprise operating environments. I can discuss a GovTech or service-operations mandate and assess whether the experience fits the operating challenge.

How does a fractional COO engagement start?

Begin with a 30-minute discovery call. We assess the constraint, the team, the decision rights and the time commitment. Operations-specific scope and fees are agreed explicitly; published revenue-leadership plans are not automatically a quote for every COO mandate.
